Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy
Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) helps to safely and gently lower trauma-adapted defenses, so that you can discover buried aspects of yourself and process through stuck trauma. This approach might be right for you if you’ve tried other types of therapy and nothing else has worked, if you have a hard time letting your walls down even when you want to, or if you’re wanting deeper breakthroughs in therapy.
Our understandable attempts to protect ourselves in the aftermath of trauma can sometimes show up as roadblocks when we’re trying to heal and don’t know how to let go of defenses. If you’re relating to this, Ketamine therapy can help you to let go—without giving up your agency.
KAP is different from other types of Ketamine therapy because it’s happening in a therapeutic context that supports trauma healing in a safe, structured, and supportive environment. I will walk you through each step of the journey, from preparation and addressing any hesitations or questions, to the journey itself, to the integration of new insights or emotions. Each element plays an important part in making this a therapeutic, transformative experience.
If you’re ready to reach deeper or move further in your healing, or if other therapies haven’t had the impact you hoped for, Ketamine assisted therapy might be a good match.
WHEN YOU KNOW YOU NEED TO GO DEEPER, BUT SOMETHING IS GETTING IN THE WAY

Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) is a collaborative process. Safe and effective treatment requires different types of expertise—both clinical (psychotherapy) and medical.
I partner with an organization called Journey Clinical to help with the medical aspects of the treatment. Their medical team handles KAP eligibility, KAP treatment plan, and Ketamine prescriptions and refills.
This means that you and I can focus on the clinical (therapeutic) aspects of the journey, while ensuring that you also have a space to have all of your medical questions answered.
Before beginning a KAP journey with me, you would schedule a meeting with the Journey Clinical medical team to check your eligibility for this treatment—basically just making sure that there are no medical issues that might impact treatment. This meeting also determines your starting ketamine dose, and is an opportunity for you to ask any questions or voice any concerns you have about the experience (especially related to the medical aspects of the journey).
Still have questions? Rest assured, I will walk you through every step. Schedule a consultation or send me an email—I look forward to hearing from you!

By bringing together licensed medical and clinical professionals, you are surrounded by experts to help you navigate each and every aspect of this journey.
As a licensed psychologist, it is my commitment to provide the highest possible standard of care, and working with Journey Clinical allows me to stay close to your journey every step of the way, with a direct line to communicate with your prescriber and medical team. I will advocate for you, work with the JC team to address any concerns you might have or make any medication adjustments necessary to improve your experience, and collaborate with other professionals in the psychedelic therapy space to continue sharpening my skills so that you can be sure you’re in good hands.

Have you ever taken a medication to address anxiety, depression, or some other mental health concern? Many people taking medications for mental health challenges are frustrated by the limitations and lack of long-term effectiveness (they only work as long as you’re taking them).
Ketamine works entirely differently in the brain, but ketamine therapy by itself is still limited. Combining ketamine treatment with psychotherapeutic support creates the best conditions for faster and more stable healing.
As your therapist, I will help you to prepare, set meaningful and specific intentions for healing, understand and process your dosing experience, and integrate this experience with your life, goals, and whatever issues you’re working through in therapy.
